The successor of the popular XBeemodules intended for wireless communication. Improvement of the tested solutions that provide increased range. It supports 802.15.4 and ZigBee, andBLE communication protocols. In addition, XBee provides communication with other devices via the UART and SPI bus. The manufacturer claims that its range is up to 60meters indoor andup to 1200m in open space, in the line of sight. The module allows you to configure the network of meshtype. On the XBee, installed was RP-SMA slot for external antenna.
