ModuleXBeePro in thrid version is an improved successor of the popularXBee modules. In regard of its predecessors, there has been improved the power of the device which resulted in a wider range. According to the manufacturer, its range isup to 90meters indoors and up to3200 metresoutdoors, in the line of sight. On board of the module, there wasintegrated RP-SMA slot, to which you can connect an external antenna to increase the range. Worth emphasizing is the fact that the XBee allows you to communicate with other devices via UART and SPI. It supports the 802.15.4, ZigBeeandBLE protocols. It allows you to build a network in themeshconfiguration.
