Product description: DFRobot GPS/GPRS/GSM SIM908 Shield for Arduino v3
Overlay for Arduino, which allows you to send text messages, create voice calls and read GPS position. It communicates through serial interface UART (RX, TX) via popular AT commands.
Applied SIM908 module with built-in antennas enables communication via GSM/GPRS network and reading data from GPS satellites. There is a SIM card slot on the board, and connection of subsequent Arduino Shields is possible by means of the output connectors.

Connection
The board has connectors compatible with Arduino Uno, Leonardo and derivatives. In order to start working with the device, just connect the module and upload to Arduino a sample code provided by the manufacturer.
The board can work in two modes: control via Arduino and communication via USB with a computer via serial interface terminal. Change of the mode is possible by the switch S1.
Switch S2 is used to switch the system into programming function. In order to upload program to Arduino, this switch should be set to PROG position. During normal operation switch should return to COMM position.
