Description
Gertboard is a module that extends the capabilities of theRaspberry Piminicomputer. It is connected directly to the Raspberry GPIO output/input connectors, from which it also draws power.
The board has output/input ports, communication interfaces, LEDs and buttons. Thanks to the mounted controller, the user can control the speed and direction ofthe DC motor, supplied with voltage up to 18V and drawing maximum current 2A. Analogue-to-digital and digital-to-analogue converters allow processing of signals from the Raspberry Pi minicomputer. All the above mentioned peripheries can be operated with one of two programming languages: Python and Classic C - which allows direct access to the functionality of the board. Detailed description can be found in theuser manual.
