Main features of HiFiberry module
- Built-in high quality S/PDIF connector and optical socket.
- The device operates at 24 bits resolution and speeds up to 192 kHz.
- The board has dedicated connectors for GPIO Raspberry Pi, no additional cables and adapters are needed to connect it. It cooperates with 3 B, 2 B, A+, B+ mini computer.
- It is powered from Raspberry Pi, no additional power supply is needed.
- It works with the Raspberryversion 2, A+, B+ and the new 3 B.
- The board weights 20 g and has dimensions of 55 x 65 x 15 mm.
Connection
Installation of HiFiBerry is very easy, just insert the memory card into the reader of your computer, then runthe configuration program andselect the appropriate board and operating system in it. The application will automatically install the operating system with the appropriate driver. After moving the card to Raspberry Pi, the HiFiberry board will be configured accordingly.
