SparkFun RedBoard Plus is another Arduino-compatible development board from SparkFun. The module is fully compatible with Arduino Uno (it can be programmed using Arduino IDE environment) and features ATmega328P microcontroller. It has 22 inputs/outputs (including 6 PWM channels), 8 analog inputs and Qwiic connector.

SparkFun RedBoard Plus with Qwiic connector
This board combines simplicity of Arduino Uno with communication stability of FTDI chips. On board, there is ATmega328P microcontroller with Optiboot (UNO) bootloader and pinout compatible with Arduino Uno. The changes you will notice when using the module are:
- USB C connector - the large USB B connector has been replaced with a small, convenient USB C socket
- Qwiic connector - a convenient Qwiic connector was placed on the board, so there is no need for soldering
- Bypass jumper - the board includes a jumper to bypass the resetable fuse
- I/O logic switch - instead of cutting the jumper and soldering the board, you can now flip the switch to match the logic level to the system voltage
- Two additional analog pins - attached to A6 and A7
- The board colour has been changed from blue to red
Power supply for SparkFun RedBoard Plus
Module can be powered through USB C cable and external device like AC adapter, battery or accumul ator. Switching the power source is done automatically. The power supply unit is connected to a standard DC socket. Battery or other source is connected to pins ofPOWER connector.
